Minister of Expatriates: Media Plays an Important Role in presenting the Truth

The Minister of Expatriates stressed the media responsibility in presenting the truth and reporting the facts to the world public opinion, to differentiate between the killer and the victim, the people fighting for their life and defending their usurped rights, and who kills in a terrorist manner using prohibited weapons in the destruction of hospitals, schools, mosques and United Nations organizations in the occupied Palestine.
SANA reported that the minister, during a meeting with the representatives of the German media and press, introduced video clips of some terrible crimes committed by the Zionist aggression against children, women and elderly Palestinians in Gaza Strip, referring to the aggression brutality in which Israel used internationally banned weapons against civilians blockaded in the sector.
In return, the correspondents of some newspapers and German media expressed the horrible atrocity committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza.
On the other hand, minister Sweid met the board of German-Arab Friendship Society in Berlin. He stressed the important role of the Arab-German Friendship Societies in strengthening and developing the German relationship with Syria and the Arab world on various levels.
The minister invited the organizations and the Arab-German Friendship Societies of strong effect to activate the organizations of human rights in Germany and Europe to try Israeli war criminals who committed genocide crimes against humanity in Gaza Strip in flagrant violation of all international norms and laws.
The Society members praised the principled attitude of Syria in providing the blockaded Palestinians in Gaza with all the requirements of resistance and life during the barbaric Israeli aggression.

Minister of Expatriates discussed with Gonter Glouser, the German Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, in the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Berlin, the situation in the region and the recent Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip; the massacres and systematic genocide against the unarmed civilians using all types of weapons including the internationally banned ones.
SANA reported that the minister Sweid, during the meeting, referred to the occupation forces bombing of the civilian places, including the hospitals, schools, mosques and organizations of the United Nations, what is a flagrant violation of the Geneva Conventions that includes international humanitarian laws. He invited the world community organizations to shoulder their responsibilities and in particular prosecuting the criminals responsible for Israeli war crimes against humanity. At the same time, he stressed the need for stopping the Israeli aggression, lifting the unjust embargo and opening the crossings permanently.
Mr. Sweid expressed his astonishment at some countries’ statements on human rights while ignoring the prosecution of those criminals, killers of humanity and peoples.
Sweden also referred to the positive role of the Syrian Arab community in Germany in activating and developing the relations between Syria and Germany.
In turn, Glouser stressed the central and important regional role of Syria which would achieve security and stability.
Mr. Sweid also discussed with Klaus Henning, Minister of State for Internal Affairs in the German Federal Government, issues of concern to both countries, particularly the issues related to Syrian expatriates residing in Germany. The two ministers assured that the Syrian community has an effective presence and works systematically through the associations and Syrian-German friendship societies.
In this regard, Hanning said that the Syrian community gained the respect of the German society and institutions. He pointed out that Syria has carried the burden of hosting Iraqi refugees and offering them services to live a decent life, stressing that Germany is ready to help Syria in this prospect.
Mr. Sweid, before the German parliamentary blocs, introduced photos and video clips of the latest aggressive Israeli war on Gaza. He invited them as representatives of public opinion to move towards the prosecution of these criminals, realize the Palestinian people rights, and stand by their struggle to achieve these rights.
For their part, the German parliamentarians expressed the horrible atrocity of Zionism and the Palestinians tragedy, appreciating what Syria’s efforts in this regard.
The meetings were attended by Dr. Hussein Omran, Syria's Ambassador in Germany and the accompanying delegation.

In Berlin, Minister of Expatriates discussed with Mr. Ehrhart Corting, minister of interior in Berlin, issues of mutual interest.
The minister stressed the importance of Syrian-German relations and the role of Germany in the regional issues and the support of the Arab legitimate rights.
The minister said that the Zionists acts against people in Gaza shoulders the European countries and the international community their responsibilities towards the Zionist enemy’s systematic terrorist genocide against the defenseless people in Gaza who just wanted to live.
Mr. Sweid invited the international community institutions to prosecute the perpetrators of the massacres which are considered war crimes against humanity, and Europe to play an active role towards our just issues.
The minister said that the Syrian community, i.e. the Syrian - German friendship societies, the expatriate associations, and its effective presence abroad, was important in strengthening the mutual relations between the two countries. He stressed that the Syrian expatriates in Germany are elites in the German society on all levels, and though they are proud of their national identity, they were integrated into their new society, respected the laws and regulations, and achieved excellence in all aspects of life in Germany.
In turn, Mr. Corting appreciated the regional role of Syria in achieving security and stability. He also stressed that what Palestinian people recently witnessed is not a solution to the Palestinian issue.
The German minister expressed the appreciation of Germany of what Syria offers to Iraqi refugees on all levels of life and humanity and the burden it carries in this prospect. He expressed the respect of Germany and its institutions of the distinguished Syrian community in the German society. He referred to the importance of cooperation and mutual dialogue between the two countries.

The Minister of Expatriates stressed that the Zionist barbaric aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza reveals the reality of the usurping Zionism based on the killing and domination policy, flouting all humanitarian and moral international laws and charters.
This came during a meeting between the Syrian Minister of Expatriates and the Syrian community in the German provinces in the annual conference held at the Syrian Embassy in Berlin. The conference is attended by the heads of associations, the Syrian-German friendship societies, German official and intellectual figures, several members of the diplomatic missions accredited in Germany, and the Syrian ambassador in Berlin. The minister said: "The systematic genocide carried out by the brutal Zionist enemy against children and women is considered war crimes, crimes against humanity, and a flagrant violation of the provisions of international and humanitarian law."
The minister demonstrated that the international community is to shoulder its responsibilities towards the events to immediately stop the aggression, achieve the withdrawal of the barbaric troops, permanently open all border crossings, and lift the blockade.
Minister Sweid addressing the Syrian community said: "Syria under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad stands firmly, proud and honored to support the resistance in Gaza and provide all its requirements."
He invited the community to participate and contribute with their brothers in the homeland in the national campaign to support the resistance of people in Gaza, referring to the efforts of the community in this regard, especially in providing medical aid; sending medical staff into the field in Gaza Strip.
Dr. Hussein Omran, the Syrian ambassador in Germany, stressed the important and vital role of the Syrian expatriates in Germany and the coordination between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs to serve expatriates and deepen their communication with the homeland Syria.
In return, the Syrian community throughout Germany expressed their pride and appreciation of the principled and firm national attitude of their country under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad, confirming that his sovereignty speech in the Emergent Arab Summit in Doha carried the pulse of Syrian and Arab people, residents and expatriates.
Minister of Expatriates: Language Preserves Nation and History

The Minister of Expatriates met the administration and teaching staff of the Arab School in Berlin. The school teaches the Arabic language to the Syrian and German community children in Germany. He stressed the importance of the school and its educational role in deepening the intellectual and linguistic communication with the Arabic language and the homeland, and the fact that the mother language is the preserver of the nation's history and heritage. He promised to provide all the necessary requirements of books and curricula.
On his side, Mr. Hassan Hakam, the chairman of the administrative and executive committee in the school, said that the role of the Arab School is crucial in growing up the Syrian generation that believes in his issues and history, referring to the school three branches which include more than 300 Syrian and Arab students.
The Syrian expatriates assured their support to the resistance approach which is the only way to achieve the just peace and restore rights.
The Arabic School in Berlin is the representative of the identity and homeland heritage.

The belonging and its perceptions remains. It touches the feelings that are often difficult to understand or interpret. It is a feature of the Arab society for ages and generations to become one of the characteristics of the writings of earlier poets and writers.
We can see this obviously in all its manifestations when we meet our children and brothers abroad and feel belonging that owned them their unique distinguished identity.
These feelings present the place in its best different from what we know, telling you details that might be absent or ignored, but not for that expatriate residing in a far away country from his homeland.
The Syrian Minister of Expatriates met the community in the Arabic School in Berlin.
The meeting was great where the greetings by the school administration and students were in classical Arabic... "Welcome messengers of resistance, welcome from our homeland that embraces the resistance which is expressed by the leader President Bashar al-Assad in an unambiguous classical Arabic language." These are the words of the Arabic School Director, Mr. Hassan Hakam, who is seventy years old working in the school as a volunteer.
The minister praised the important role of the Arabic School in Berlin in preparing the next generation that believes in his Arab nationalism, Arab issues, and national history, and who are proud of the attitudes of the homeland leader President Bashar al-Assad. The minister assured that the Ministry of Expatriates will provide all the needed books and curricula for the school. He invited the students to visit Syria to complete language courses at universities in order to polish their skills, know about the Arab culture and the land of their ancestors, for the fact that teaching Arabic to expatriates children is one of the priorities to be achieved by the Ministry of Expatriates in accordance with the instructions of President al-Assad, that are to empower the Arabic language on all levels, especially for the youth across the nation and abroad.
Returning to the homeland, how near was Syria to those who lived in it and breathed its air. It addresses their sense of honor and conscience to return as they listen in respect and silence to their leader’s speech in Doha Summit.
The words were influential and the emotions excited when the minister addressed the expatriates in the Great Hall at the Syrian Embassy, in front of crowds of more than four hundred expatriates from all provinces and representatives of the German Syrian-German friendship societies and their German friends, saying: "I came from Syria the country of Yousef al-Azmeh, Ez Eldin al-Kassam, Saleh al-Ali, Ibrahim Hanano, Sultan Basha al-Atrash, Sanaa Mheidly, Hamidah al-Taher, and Khalid al-Azrak. The country of national resistance and victory leader Bashar al-Assad, from the sacrifice in July to the glory in Ghaza to the pride in Golan hills where people decided to resist and gain a victory. The savage Zionist war machine can not and will not break the will of the people who wanted life. The bodies fall but the souls have imposed themselves in this world, and our martyrs are the signs of major victory. This is the heroism and pride nation, a nation stands of pride and dignity in a country in which nationalism means dignity and sacrifice."
It was a trip in the right time and place indeed because of the social and official Syrian community presence, excellence and respect in Germany.
The expatriates in Germany expressed their support to the resistance approach of Syria, their issues, the people in Gaza, the need for reconstruction, condemning the Zionists brutal crimes and holocaust, and the use of internationally banned weapons which contributed to more killing of children and unarmed civilians, especially those who resorted in the United Nations’ schools and headquarters.
The expatriates stressed their absolute support to the resistance that is the only way to achieve peace and restore rights. The meeting was significant between the Minister of Expatriates and the German media and press who interacted with the events, especially when they saw the photos and video clips scenes that present the reality of the brutal barbaric aggression on people in Gaza, and what the Zionist soldiers committed against children, women and the elderly.
